Editorial Policy

The “Psychology Benefits Society” blog is designed to provide news, information, and educational material based on psychological science to its readers. The content posted to the blog consistently emphasizes the science of psychology and demonstrates how the application of psychological science benefits daily living and provides solutions to address major social issues. All posts citing scientific research include references and aim to foster dialogue around the science presented and how it benefits society. APA staff and external experts who provide content on the blog must fully disclose any financial or other interests that may represent a conflict.

Posts by guest authors reflect the views and perspectives of the guest author and do not necessarily reflect the views or positions of the American Psychological Association.
